Over the past few days I have posted about receiving a Dillon 550 progressive press reloading system. Remember when I said that I was getting an indestructible system. Well within a few minute time period I break two primer punch pins, got a primer stuck in a pickup tube, and mangled a primer cup. So give it to me to render a machine unusable until I can get the new parts from my new friend Brian Enos.
The machine pumped out 500+ .40&W and about 100 .223 Remington before the melt down. It was probably due a break. I need to find the preventive maintenance measures before I get to much farther. I know some of those pivot points on that machine needs a drop of oil and something needs to be cleaned. Do you have any routine things I should be doing?
